Endometriosis can be a lifelong disease that robs women of their quality of life. The disease is poorly understood which severely limits early diagnosis and personalised treatment strategies.
It is characterised by marked heterogeneity between patients and represents a major clinical challenge. Better tools are needed for diagnosis and treatment and our complementary research projects in the Australian Endometriosis Alliance address these challenges.
